She aims to discover the truth about a local ranch owner that runs greyhounds at the track.The main characters in this story are warm like the Texas sun, and the reader can feel the workings of the ranch and the people who live there. I love books about Texas and I am an avid dog lover. The best part about enjoying this story is knowing that some of the proceeds go to the greyhound rescue centers. I have bought several copies myself to gift to family and friends. I look forward to more mysteries from this author.
