The Girl’s Weekend Murder!
This cozy mystery made me curl up in my seat, as it tossed me back to an era of spunky movies with Ava Gardner and Jane Russel. One part Gentleman prefer Blondes, one part Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca, this murder was anything but dreary! A real page turner from the playful start, this author held my interest as the wild goose chase, to find out “who done it,” ensued. I felt like I was in an old black and white film, looking for hints of who the real killer could be. Izzy and Ava are remarkable character’s that never let up their banter or their support to help a great friend. A quick read for mystery lovers that I highly recommend.
